Corinne Rivard is fluent in English and French. Corinne joined Ashton Tax as the Office Manager in 2009. As the Office Manager her responsibilities include office administration and customer service. She also works on accounting, payroll and income tax files for our clients.
She graduated from Herzing Institute with a Business Administration diploma in 2002.
Admin Support, Bookkeeper and Tax Specialist
Rob Yeaton is fluent in English. He joined Ashton Tax as a bookkeeper and tax specialist in 2017 and currently works on bookkeeping and tax files for our clients. He also provides administrative support for the office.
Rob started working in tax preparation and bookkeeping with Peak Services. He recently was working with the Federal NDP as a bookkeeper. He continues to hone his tax and accounting skills as well as his education.
Manager of Bookkeeping
Monique Arboite is fluent in French and English. Monique has worked with Ashton Tax since 2001. She handles the preparation of all financial reports as well as calculating Harmonized Services Tax (GST/HST) owed to secure full compliance and payment. She teams up with the internal and external auditor in ensuring appropriate and accuracy of these financial records.
She graduated from HEC (Hautes Études Commerciales) Bachelor of Management Accounting (CMA profile) Master degree in Project Management.
Chun Liu is fluent in English and Mandarin. She joined Ashton Tax as tax specialist in 2016 and currently works on income tax file and bookkeeping for our clients.
Chun worked at H&R Block as an advanced tax professional prior to joining our team. She received a diploma with honors in Business Accounting from Algonquin College in 2013. She is continuing to study and enhance her accounting and tax knowledge.
Patricia Cocker is fluent in English. She has worked with Ashton Tax as an independent contractor since 2009, specializing in final and estate tax returns for our clients.
Patricia completed her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING designation in December 1999, her CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT ON AGING in 2010 and has recently completed her CERTIFIED EXECUTOR ADVISOR designation. She has completed a number of accounting courses as well as many advanced tax courses.
In addition to her work in the area of tax, Patricia also assists the recently bereaved with the paperwork that needs to be completed when a loved one passes away; she assists those who wish to put their financial affairs in order before sitting down with their lawyer to prepare their wills. She is also a qualified credit counsellor.
Prior to working in the financial services sector, Patricia spent 24 years working in the not-for-profit sector, first in public libraries and then with health and housing organizations.
